Travel outside UK - Visa validity

Post by hsmp2006 » Fri Dec 03, 2010 12:28 pm

Hi

Is there a requirement that visa should be valid for atleast 6 months before the date of entry into UK for Tier-1 main and dependent visa holders?

I am planning to go outside UK on vacation for a week in January 2011 while my Visa is due for renewal in March 2011. Kindly clarify.

Regards,
hsmp2006.

I went out in Jan with a visa that expired in Feb (4 weeks later). No issues. But that was few years ago now.

If you have already got visa for the country you are visiting, It's fine. The six month validity only applies if you have to apply visa for the visiting country.
cheers
