My male friend (living abroad and entered as visit visa) already got married to an UK citizen woman through Muslim Imam in the mosque. now they want to register the the marriage in register's office. the below is the questions which need an answers:-
1) will Imam marriage certificate recognised in register's office?
2) will he need to get entry clearance (visit for marriage visa) to come to UK.
3) in the VAF1F form (marriage visa application form) shell he mention the UK wife details ? http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/ ... 3073/VAF1F
4) in the VAF1F form shell he mention his first wife and the child?

Is he still married to his first wife or divorced from her?

he is divorce recently.

The form does ask if the applicant is divorced and has children.

the form asked marital status (under raw 1.5) , he does not have divorce certificate to present in Register office in UK when he wants to register for new marriage, will register office in UK will retrieve the marriage visit visa and find out this if he did not mention marital status ?

He cannot give the needed "Notice of Intention to Marry" until he is divorced. To do so would amount to perjury, a very serious criminal offence.
