planning to apply tier1 general visa in March 2011 . help?

Applying in March 2011 will almost certainly be too late. The monthly cap is being met earlier and earlier and the backlog getting larger. Immigration agents in the UK are suggesting that the temporary cap will likely be exhausted by as early as January.

So unless you are likely to qualify under the new rules coming in in April, I would apply ASAP if I was you.
