I have valid tier 1 and tier 2 visa.My current employer ahs asked me to travel to uk next month.Now my question is can I travel showing tier 2???? pls help

But can you also clarify what exactly does this mean.

Do we have to get the first visa cancelled and then apply for a new one??

When the 2nd (recent) visa is issued, the 1st (older) one becomes invalid - automatically.

Thanks sushdmehta, understood now.just wondering why the HO didnt stamp the tier 2 as cancelled.

once the new visa is issued the old one is automatically cancelled and you will be under the rules and restriction of the new visa.So you cant have two visa at the same time.
