Mismatch in pay slips and bank statements

Post by destinyrules13 » Sun Aug 29, 2010 2:46 pm

HI folks,

as a proof of previous earnings, i need to show payslips from my employer and bank statements showing credit entry. as per guidelines, i can show my GROSS earnings in payslip as my income. however, the bank statement will show the NET amount (gross-tax). Hence there is will be mismatch in my payslip which shows GROSS salary and my bank statement which shows NET amount deposited.

how to deal with this situation? are they ok with this mismatch?

thanks in advance

Payslip will also have the net amount. That net amount should match the bank deposit. but, for earnings points you have to consider the gross amount on the payslips.

The policy guidelines mention that you have to show 2 proofs for your income - it follows that the 2 should corroborate. If you provide bank stmts as your second proof, they can only match it with the net amount on your payslips.

does this mean the following:

if i submit bank statement and payslips as proofs then,

gross salary in payslip: x
net salary in payslip: y
amount in bank statement: y

so while calculating points, they will consider x or y?
experts, please help!!!

Hello,

I am operating my own Limited Company. For the month of June 2010, i have taken salary on 28th June, but my payslip is dated as 30th June. Will this be a problem ?
