Planning to apply on 2nd,March,2011

Post by Anversha » Sun Dec 19, 2010 8:43 am

Hi Experts,

Due to some reasons I can apply for tier1 only on 2nd March,2011.

Based on your experience, Is it worth to apply at that time, since the tier 1 is stopping from April 01,2011 onwards.

You do your math

Post by il_breeze » Sun Dec 19, 2010 1:04 pm

1. October's quotas were filled on Oct 24th.
2. December's quotas were filled on Dec 7th

I would say that
* January quotas will be filled on January 1st (add a few days fro the Christmas)
* February quotes to be filled on Jan 24th
* March - Feb 17
* April - on March 7th.

You get the idea... I might be wrong of course and it is should be your decision after all.

Quotas have been ruled illegal...please search this forum for thread about this.

Secondly, if the applicant is in-country, there is no limit on quota. It is not clear if applicant is in-country or out of country.

Thanks for the response.

Last day i read that the quota system has been ruled out by UK court.

I am planning to apply from Saudi Arabia. So it means out country?

If that is the case what's your advise.

Yes, out of country.

Not clear yet what the impact of the ruling will be for existing/new applicants in terms of how the quota is implemented. See http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... 2808253c7a
