Did anybody apply for fresh Tier 1 General after the news came out ?

I assume you mean online applications? I cant believe that BIA is so efficient that they would take down the online application form so soon after the announcement

As being discussed in http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=68839, it is not clear though what the application date will be considered. SO be careful.

Yes I applied after the news came out. (Successfully and online - going to submit my biometrics in a few hours).

Guys, I mean outside Europe fresh applications for Tier 1 G in VFS centers

Yes, I applied last night and I'm about to leave to go and give my biometrics. This is in Johannesburg, South Africa - so very much outside of Europe! I'll update you guys on what VFS says, but so far I had no problem in making the appointment and paying!

Yes, I submitted today in VFS Mumbai.
They are very much accepting the applications with the same old message - Dec visa limit is over, your application will be processed in Jan.
I think, they haven't got any official word from Mr.Green yet.

Well VFS Johannesburg didn't even say anything about the limit being reached!! But then, they only process about 16 applications a month. There was nothing out of the ordinary when I put in my application now...

I have mailed them for an appointment in Mumbai. How early can we get the appointment.

I have given them the options of 23rd , 28th and 29th. Do I stand a chance in these days.

Also, let me know how to make the payment. Is it online.............Can we pay by Credit Card.

I had called up VFS office in Bangalore and they said that they have not received any official communication from UKBA and applicants can submit their docs but the applications will be processed only in the month of Jan since Dec limit is reached.
