Travelling on Feb'11 end -- need suggestions

Hello Group members,

Am planning to travel feb 2011.
Can any one please suggest how to carry the curreny?
what is the best way to manage the currency while traveling and during the job search?

I am traveling Dec end. I am carrying currency partially and a travel card so that if there is a deficit of funds during my job search, someone can top up the card back at home.

Hi ,

Please note the following

1) Carry around some good money out of which you can make your living here .

2) Open an account and transfer all the money from your home country to uk bank account
