ImranOne needs to be congratualted on one more thing

He is the first applicant whose status did not forward to BHC to not be rejected a visa

All 4-5 before him who were not forwarded to BHC were rejected

A virtual Ladoo from me!

Big congratulations, happy for you.

Somehow I don't think my wifes visa is going to be accepted... just a sneak feeling I have.

The visa was stamped on the passport on 16/12/10 so it took a week to get back to gerrys.

Hey guys, appeal is all sent off...bt ive started to wonder weather it would be quicker and easyer to just submitt a new application?? as you know they only refused it on such a small thing so we have a possibility of it being over turned, but we have no way of finding out how long that could take...i can'not wait 9 months to be with my hubby again no way...anyone got any advise for me? My solicitor told me that our appeal should definatly be accepted...so wouldnt it be better to submitt a new one instead of going through appeal hasstle? Oh and many congats to everyone whos got there visa really happy for you all :)
calling letter 21/06/2011
forwarded to brittish embessy 27/06/11

Email Decision

Post by TANVIR786 » Thu Dec 23, 2010 9:52 pm

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your email. All settlement applications are lodged in Pakistan and processed in the UK. I have checked on the status of your application and can confirm that your application has been processed.

The VAC will be contacting you shortly when your paperwork is ready for collection. Please do not contact them direct as this may cause a delay to all applications.

Regards

Keep checking the tracking website, the VAC don't always contact you. My wife was not contacted at all. The only way she found out the paperwork was ready for collection was through the tracking website. When your paperwork is ready for collection you do not need to contact gerrys to arrange a time for collection, just get there before 2pm local time and make sure to take your reciept and strips with you. (just for info if they ask have you been contacted via txt or fone say yes even if u have not otherwise they wont even look at your reciept, once they input the reciept they give you a token and the wait begins).

Hope this info helps.
