Basic and Gross Salary - difference

Post by mhmys » Fri Dec 24, 2010 10:14 am

Dear Experts,

I have read the discussion threads regarding past earnings.

In my application, I have included past earnings which corresponse to my basic salary, which allows me to claim 35 points. However, I just realised that past earnings must be based on gross salary.

When I re-calculated the gross salary including bonus based on my payslips ( stamped/signed by my Employer), the total gross salary for 12 months (including bonus) is within the same salary band to claim 35 points, but the figures are different from my basic salary ( about GBP 215 difference)

Will this cause any problem when the case worker assessing my past earnings ?

I submitted the application on the 19th October, and I have not received any decision yet.

Really appreciate your advice with regards to this matter.
