Where did u get this information?? please don't misguide peoplekkj wrote:Most probably, after Jan'11 changes in immigration laws, there will be no more visa extensions allows for student.
So dont need to worry about extensions now!
Only student with visa expiry date in Jan'11 should worry about date and time.
As his visa expires in March, and his new course starts in June, he will need to leave the UK and apply for entry clearance again. The reason being, you cannot apply for an extension if the new course start date is more than a month after the current visa's expiry date.mahdyhasan wrote:one of my friend is about to finish his course by January 2011 and to finish his visa by March 2011... He wants to apply for ACCA after finishing his course..
he got two options fro ACCA:
1. apply for jan/feb session
2. apply for june session
If he applies for June session, will HO give him visa from March (as his visa is gonna expired in march)? Or he will get visa from June (so he needs to go back his home country)..
or he cannot apply at all?? does he need to go back to home country and apply from there??

If you wish to avoid going out of the UK, you may wish to apply for the Jan/Feb option.
