No it does not show on the track status whether they have contacted your employer.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. Why is everyone so interested in weather the ECO contacted their employer or not ???

Them contacting your employer or not does not determine an outcome of your decision nor it does provide any reassurance.

Just Be patient and wait for the outcome. If your Job is genuine then you have nothing to worry about!!!

The UKBA does not contact every sponsor's employers but it provides a very good indication of when a decision will be made as the decision is normally made on the same day that the employer confirms details.

That is not entirely true!!! Because the decision is not solely made based on employee status!!!

You have misunderstood me. I said it provides a very good indication as to the timing of the decision. It is obviously not the only check they carry out or the only factor in the decision making process. I presume the reason it serves as an excellent indicator as to the timing of when a decision is made is because it is one of the last checks they do. Also please note that they do not contact everybody's employer. I hope that's clearer for you.

asalaam
you wouldn't have to do the english test if you applied b4 29/11/10. even if you get refused and you appeal. but if you don't appeal and decide to do a fresh case. then english test would apply.

Walaykum Salaam,

This is my first post here, I am in processs of applying for my wife's visa soon however due to knew immigration rules had to delay the application submission in order to get the ENGLISH TEST done. Its been rather an experience up until now but Alhamdullilah things are now starting to sort themselves out now lol...

Does anyone have any information regaridng ENGLISH TESTS done in Mirpur??? (if so please share your experience/info)

Our `NIKAH` has been performed several months ago in AJK but the `RUKHSTI` will take place at a later date, when I go back to Pakistan in few months time (inshahAllah). Technically when is our marriage date; Nikah date or `rukhsti` date?
