Grades Will be Received 1 Week before Visa Expiration

I have a unique situation which I would greatly appreciate advice on.

I am currently on a Tier 4 visa for an MA program, and I finished my dissertation in the fall. My visa expires February 28, but I don't get my grades or confirmation of the degree until the second week in February, just one week before my visa expires. My UNI will not provide me with the official certificate until March. As I understand, it is okay that I do not have the official certificate provided that the letter from my UNI mentions everything extra required. Does this still hold true??? Has anyone had luck with this???

Also, since I only have a week before the end of my visa I would like to apply in person with the premium services. I have called the number and have been informed that they no longer take Tier 1 (PSW) appointments over the phone. I have been checking online for days for appointments for Tier 1 (PSW) aren't even listed. How would you suggest I get an appointment??

Any other things I should be aware of in my situation?? Many thanks, and I hope this helps other people in similar situations.

your visa expires on 28 feb...

and you wont have all the certificates until what specific date in March?

as far as ukba is concerned, you either HAVE original cirtificates or you DONT. there is no substitute for original degree certificate!

also, i was looking into premium option myself for psw 9,10 months ago and they didnt have any for psw applicants!... so i dunno if they do that for psw applicants at all.

also, all you need to do is submit an application before 28 feb. the date you post it (via royal mail) must be the date before your visa expires. they can process your application afterwards and you will be legally covered cuz of section 3c.

my cousin was having same problem. His visa was getting expired and he was still waiting for the University's results to be announced for his dissertation. He did following two things.

(1): He obtained an letter from the college, which confirmed that he had cleared all his modules except the dissertation which is due to be marked and results for that are are expected in next month.
(2): He consulted a solicitor got his firm's original case letter that this student is our firm's client and we assure you that no sooner he gets his results sorted out for dissertation we'll send them to the HO.
(3): Solicitor advised him to get the results from University in next two weeks as according to the solicitor they can withhold his application for the maximum period of two weeks in HO.
(4): He applied for the PSW without getting any final result form the university.
(5): After 8 days he got acknowledgement letter from HO.
(6) On the 9th day he received his final result from the University and solicitor personally provided that letter in the HO next day, and came back with PSW stamped on his passport.
