Rule for first time entry in UK

Hi All,

just need a bit of information, my wife got Tier 1 general dependent visa last month but due to some problems she will be joining me in august 2011, can someone please let me know is there any time period rule that one has to enter UK within certain period of time after getting Visa.

i couldent find any such post so sorry if this is a repeated question.
