What next when my 2010 PSW expires in 2012

Hello all,

Am wondering, I got PSW in February 2010 and it expires in February 2012.

I just got a job and was planning on converting to Tier 1 by November 2011, what happens now that Tier 1 would be stopped.

Options:
1. Apply for Tier 1 (General) before it is closed for good.
2. Apply for leave to remain under another immigration category that you qualify for, before your current leave expires.
3. If nothing else works out by the time your current leave expires, return to home country.

or....

switch to tier 2 general category. thats the "natural" progression from psw visa to work-related visa
