joint account, different surnames... please advise

i have a joint account with my step dad that i am using for the maintenance requirement.

i am just wondering, we have different surnames, will that be a problem?

on the border agency page, it doesn't specify anything about the joint account holders.

do mention it in your covering letter as it is relatively rare to have different surnames

...and you must aim to answer all the possible queries that a case worker might have after getting your app cuz you dont wanna risk rejection on trivial things through no fault of your own
