Advice on EEA Family Member Schengen Visa Application.

Hello,

I would really appreciate any advice I can get on this issue. I have a residence card which was issued to me because I was able to prove that I have been living with my partner an EEA National for over 3 years.

My problem now is when I tried to apply for a Schengen visa as a family member of an EEA National but I was told to provide a proof of relationship (e.g marriage or civil partnership certificate. My dilemma is that we are not married yet, our wedding is due in November but in the mean time my residence permit doesn’t appear to be enough.

Can someone advice and what document I can use please?
