Tier 1 dependent visa for my child - check list

Post by maximux79 » Fri Jan 07, 2011 11:27 am

Hi All, Can anyone pls help me in finalising the checklist for a visa for my child (Tier 1 dependent) to be applied in India

1. Application form VAF10
2. covering letter
3. Passport of the child
4. Photograph of the child
5. Passport copy and VISA page of parents (father and mother of the child)
6. Invitation/sponsor letter
7. last 3 months salary slips
8. last 3 months bank statements
9. Tenancy agreement for proof of accomodation in UK
10. Council tax bill for the above mentioned accomodation

Please confirm if the above mentioned list is fine..

Another query regarding maintenance fund. I've been living in UK for the last 4 years. How much I need to show as maintenance fund? £533 only?

or do i need to show £800 (for myself) + £533 (for my wife) + £533 (for my child). My wife have valid tier 1 dependent visa untill 17 august 2012.

Thanks

Can it be on two different accounts..for example:

HSBC account = £1000 GBP
Barclays account = £1000 GBP
so, in total it will be £2000 GBP

Both the accounts in the same name as the main applicant.

Thanks
