Hey Guys,

Just sent my application today for Indefinite leave (10 years Category), so I have just joined the waiting queue as well. :D

Let's hope I am one off the quick successful ones instead of some poor souls here who are waiting for months. :(

Do you think that including a letter from my fiancee, who has settled status here in the UK , will benefit my application in any way?

Thanks

No, because her relationship with you or her immigration status in the UK is irrelevant to your application.

You can apply on 23rd February or 28 days earlier on 26th of January. My solicitor said if your application is not water tight better to do it when you complete the 10 years and not 28 days earlier.

hope this helps.

Hi
This forum is very helpful and I would like to contribute my ILR experience.
Applied under 10 years rule.
I submitted my application via a solicitor on 29/09/2010.
Acknowledgement letter dated on 30/09/2010.
ILR stamped on the 15/12/2010.
Passport received 10/01/2011 by my solicitor.
I had a gap of 3 days between one renewal.

Wish good luck for every one who is still waiting.

Thanks.

No Goga, you havent broken the record of waiting,

A friend of mine applied on 20th December 2009 ( 1 year and 1 month) and still havent heard anything, his Solicitors wrote several letters to HO, he called personally to HO and even his local MP tried but all in vain.

He has given up on them and just waiting...............

Supporting documents back

Post by litu1 » Thu Jan 20, 2011 11:29 am

hi every one... I have just received a post from UKBA. They have returned
all of my supporting documents but Life in the UK test certificate.
On the letter it says,
"A decision has been taken on your application and you will shortly receive notification of that decision, along with any valuable documents that were submitted such as Passport etc."

I'm a little confused as they haven't mention anything whether the decision is positive or negative, also they haven't sent my Life in the UK certificate back.

Please friends put some light on this darkness.
