That is a staggering statistic? Any idea why? Far far higher than other places in the West Indies.
By the way, rather than looking at the applications received, it is better IMHO to look at the numbers granted .... 552 ... and those refused .... 988 .... a rejection rate of 67.4%. Those numbers of 552+988 are actually higher than the number of applications received, showing that their "cases outstanding" count was lower at the year end than at the beginning.
But why so high? Are applicants for settlement visas in Kingston so ill-prepared?
