T1 Dependent Visa - Maintenance Fund

Post by arinpun » Tue Jan 11, 2011 5:08 pm

Hi All,

I am planning to apply dependent Visa (T1 G).

1. One part of my maintenance fund is present in one Bank.
2. In second bank I had one term deposit for more than 3 months. Which got credited back to my account (Another Bank).

Now Can I submit two sets of bank statements ? I can not get a letter from Bank that term deposit can be liquefy as it is already been ended.

Need expert advice on this. If there could be an issue , I will try to apply after 3 months considering whole sum amount.

Was this term deposit liquid, i.e. you could withdraw money from it at any time?

Yes. Generally for FD we need to show a letter from Bank that we can withdraw money from it at any point of time. In this case I can not show as it has been already closed.

Any idea ?

Apply when you've held the funds for 3 months .. and you can prove the same through documentary evidence (which you cannot do at the moment).
