EEA4 Application for Residence Permit

Hi All

I am new to the site and have a question

my wife is portuguese and we have been married for 5 years now.
i intend to apply for Residence Permit ( EEA4 form ) next month.
we have a 4 year old kid
just realised that she gets tax credits ( i think as a single mom ).
would that affect my application based on the fact that she is my sponsor?
and if it does, how bad is it? and how can i fix it?
