Alhamdullilah, my missus collected her passport with visa stamped..it was non-settlement case but on appeal case..just a quick time line tht mite help
applied in March 2010
refused April 2010
Lodged appeal 9th May 2010
Hearing date 28th October 2010 ( Adjourned . HO rep didnt turn up )
Rescheduled hearing 11th Nov 2010 ( Appeal won )
Appeal allowed letter 27th nov 2010
Call letter through email on 12th Dec 2010
Passport submitted on 14th dec 2010 at karachi
Status updated for collection 10th Jan 2010 ( no call from gerrys )

No I didnt yet but I will send it in few days inshallah because I recently submit passport so I dont think I will get something out from them that early

I think if you email to the provided address then they will give you the right answer.. I also think you should get your result very soon inshallah because it is been a week till it is in process.

Just also to let you know that status of our passport also changed to "Visa application is under process at the British High Commission"

Can I apply for fresh case because my appeal is taking longer. I appealed for tier 1 dependent Visa. Now I am thinking can I apply for a fresh case while appeal decision is pending?

nasjam it looks like they are really reviewing our cases as still not heard anything even though we submitted before yasmin786 did.

I know your case was overturned in the court and judge decided to issue the visa so i doubt they can appeal against the judge decison because the deadline has expired.

Do let us know when you hear from them so we get an idea of how long our case will take. I will let you know if weeee hear anything!
