Visa for Nurse

Post by kapkumar » Thu Jan 13, 2011 5:43 pm

Hi Friends,

My wife is nurse (registered), since Tier 1 visa for overseas applicants has been closed permanently, i just wanted to know. Is it possible that i will come as dependent with my wife as primary visa holder and work (high skilled).

Appriciate your response on this...

Hi (sushdmehta),

Either me or her doesn't have any visa yet, we both are in India right now. But as Tier 1 visa general has been stopped for me, can i apply for my wife and come to UK with her as dependent ?

Tier 1 (General) hasn't been stopped just for you .... but for all overseas applicants.

Your wife needs to have a visa to live and work in the UK! What (open/available) immigration category does she qualify for and intends to apply under?

Hi (sushdmehta),

She is a registered nurse and working in Delhi Govt Hospital. I know that its far easier for her to get a UK/ US/Canada / Australia visa then me.

But my point of concern is, would i b able to do high skilled job in dependent visa ?
