Citizenship for Spouse of HSMP holder

I am in the UK as a dependent of my husband who is an HSMP holder.

1) Do the minimum stay requirements apply to me as well?

2) Will it affect our application for citizenship if I stay out of UK for periods longer than 6 months?

3) Is the total time spent out of the country counted as a cumulative time or is it counted as per year?

My company has a branch in the US and I might get transferred there for a while.

4) If I continue to draw a UK salary while working out of USA, will it be a problem to stay out of the country for longer than 6 months a year?
