ILR Query

Post by newbie_2011 » Thu Jan 20, 2011 6:06 pm

Need expertise view on this..
After completion of 5 years period, what happens if you are not eligible to get ILR?
Is it ILR clock will be reset and wait another 5 years to get the eligibility?
Or stay till to cover the absence period in the UK using new visa and get ILR?
:?:

no one can answer your question without you providing details of your visas (incl issue dates).

on what grounds are you not eligible.

Did you ask your Solicitor, any chance you can apply ILR after covering the absense period in the sixith year ?

Its intresting to see here what the outcome would be if its ILR then thats good for fahad but if they reject ILR do fahad has to pay again for extension.

i dont think they ever allow someone to just do extra six months to cover for missed time. usually clock resets when re-entering UK after long absence.
