Dependant visa - maintenance of fund - confusion

I have searched around the forum and looked at the guidance given by the home office on maintenance fund on applying tier 1 dependent visa but all in vain.

I am in the UK for 6 years, currently I m on Tier 1 General and want to apply for my wife on tier 1 dependent visa. My question is how much do i have maintain in my bank account for the next 3 months so i can sponsor her.
Some people say i need to have 533 for myself and 533 for my dependent = 1066£ in my bank account for 3 months. Can anyone confirm if i m correct here?
