Falling short for ILR

Post by devendranadh.b » Thu Jan 20, 2011 3:08 pm

Hi,

I first came to UK in July 2008 with HSMP for 2 years and got extended for 3 years (till April 2013) with Tier1 General Visa.

While coming to UK first time I came late by 2 and 1/2 months. Now I need to apply for another extension to get eligible for ILR.

Now the question is does the new rules effect me if I want to go for another extension?

If not then do I need to apply under HSMP or Tier1 General?

Kindly clarify my questions.

Thanks,
Dev

Falling short for ILR

Post by devendranadh.b » Wed Jan 26, 2011 11:08 am

Hi,

Thank you for all your replies.

I need to apply under Tier1 General Category.

As now this is being stopped and do not know what is going to happen in future, Can I apply?
Does the new rules apply to me or these rules apply only to new applicants and not to people who already exists in UK.

Thanks,
Dev

Its being stopped for new applications, not for extensions.

No one knows future....
