Problem with Biometric Barcode

Post by rayomand » Sat Jan 29, 2011 2:22 pm

Hi there!

I got my biometric enrollment letter, I went in to the local post office to enroll them, but there was a problem with the barcode that was printed on the paper.

I have just a week left on that, and there are no appointments available.

What should I do, please advice!

Just ask for the first available appt. You only need to book the appt in 15 days. You dont actually need to attend by then

The biometric letter gives you 15 days to book an appointment not 15 days to attend an appointment. g You said there were no appointments left and you only had 5 days so i understood this to mean that you thought you only had 5 days left to give your biometrics. Have i misunderstood your question?

If you go to the home office biometric enrolment centres they dont need the barcode so just call the number on the letter and book the soonest appointment they have.

There should definitely be a number on the letter. It starts 0300

why are you confused.....

its simple...

You got 15 days to book an appointment. It doesnt matter when you actually go there.

And, if you still have problems, then contact ukba on any number you can find.

cheers
