28 days rule for Tier 1 dependent

Post by zeeshanpervez » Sat Jan 29, 2011 8:05 pm

Hi experts,

I am on Tier 1 (general) visa. I am going to apply for ILR now as I qualify. My wife joined me on 4th April 2009. As there is 2 years rule for Tier 1 spouse to have spent in the UK before applying for ILR, can we apply on 7th March 2011 (28 days before her 2 years complete in the UK) OR we have to wait till 4th April 2011 (exact 2 years since she landed in the UK)?

Thanks in advance
