Sometimes, it depends on the case worker combine with the fact that when they perform some checks it requires that they wait for reply...or could be correspondences via mailing letters through post...these stuffs will definitely have effect on the time line for reaching decision...that was why they gave 6 months for the deadline in reaching a decision. My case still with the case worker team since
21 of Jan. Apply on the 14 of Dec.2010
Any body have any idea why still take them
2 weeks to complete the BC application.
Please keep us update.
But I can assure you that once you are sure that you have got all your documented evidences right...there is no cause for concern at all...it happens to me and they took almost three weeks reaching a decision after I was told that since 17 Dec 2010 it was already with a case worker and decision was not reached until 7th of Jan 2011....so you just need to exercise some high level of patience here.
Also, all these depends on individual application(s)...I discovered that if you applied via NCS and you did not include most of the documented evidences such as payslips, P60 and so on, which would require the case worker to perform some checks...then these may also contribute to the waiting time which was in my case...also, if your working history is also a mixture of self employed/director of limited liability company and employment with another employer(s)...it may also contribute to checks being carried out...if you had PCN, CCJ, bankruptcy etc, all these begs for case workers carrying out checks on your application...so not too worry as long as your application is straight forward enough..will soon get a result.
I wish you all the best of luck
