Tier 1 Extension status,Reply from Immigration Policy, UKBA

For some curious members, I enquired about the status of Tier1 extensions and possible impact on current holders. I got the below reply from UKBA Immigration Policy: (Dated - 31st Jan, 2011)

There are no plans for any significant changes to extension criteria at the moment. We are aware of the impacts such changes could have on those who are already here and we will make our transitional arrangements as generous as possible. (Probably no changes) They will be published on our website in the next few weeks, and certainly well in advance of the changes in April.

The reason I cannot confirm or deny any changes is because the final decisions have yet to be made.

This may be helpful for people who are concerned about the future OR
contemplating early extensions. <I think most know Richard's email, but please don't flood him, as I see it, nothing is final yet but for sure there wont be any changes>
