Help with a job offer in Perth.

Having toyed with the idea of living in Oz i emailed an old colleauge enquiring about work, she forwarded my details to business associates.
2 weeks later i get an email from a company who want me to work for them and they want me to start in 3 months.

My dilemma

They have asked me which type of visa i would require 4,5 or 7 year sponsorship visa or permanent residence.

Can anyone explain the differnet types of sponsorship visa??

Also what are the chances of being in Oz within the employers requested 3 months??

If anyone has any experience of being in this situation any advice would be received gratefully.
