Which PEO to choose for ILR apps

Post by pcb_in » Tue Feb 01, 2011 11:00 pm

Hi All,
I am getting appointment for PEO Bermingham as well as Croydon for ILR in person and I can make either of them.
From past experience is there any plus point in one over the other, specially if case is not straight forward.
Your prompt inputs are highly appricaited.
Best Regards

I agree, the staff in Solihull are so much more polite and friendly. Probably because they are British and not foreigners with British passports as in the case of Croydon where the majority have a problem showing any respect for human beings. I recommend the Solihull office! They treat you and respect you like humans there.

Hi All,
Thanks for your nice suggestion. I am getting appointment in B'gham 4 days after than the Croydon. But my preference is also B'gham, because I have heard that in B'gham the case worker check all the documents and if it looks OK then only they ask for fee payment, is it true? I need to consider this also as I have 4 full applications(2 dependents over 18) which will cost me around 4.5K.
So a bit worry as my absents are also close to 260 including business and paid holiday, but unpaid is less than 180 and none of absent is more than 80 days in a stretch.
Need quick suggestion as I have to book by tomorrow.
Best Regards

Hiya if I am honset that was partly the reason I went to B'ham as they check your docs frist then take the payment where as Croydon is the otherway round and the croydon office is dirty and the staff are nasty people with no regard for others

I agree with Sally Croydon is awful. Smelly, busy. Staff have no respect. Our Immigration Officer couldnt even speak proper English and has the cheek to decide an application for another person. Go to B'ham, much better reports coming from there.

I had a good experience in Croydon 2 years ago when i went to switch my student visa to Spouse visa, I agree that Croydon is very busy , and most of the staff is rude but again its all depend on your case.

Also for MY ILR application next month i have booked B ham as its much easier for us to travel etc. also they decide about your application first and then take the payment.

Good luck
