It is very simple to understand.
Worpermit relates to ONE employment under ONE employer at given ONE time.
so, if you 'moonilight', obviously there is multiplicity which means, it will be an unauthorised thing that you are doing.
However, you could have multiple work permits at one time., which allows you to work under all the employers mentioned in your permits. If moonlight period is covered for the employer under a permit , then you are fine.
Same is applicable to self-employment, because, your visa status given under the workpermit doesn't permit.
