This is an area for the discussion of matters related to issues about moving from one country to another. Examples could be about money transfer, moving and packing, validity of driving licence, etc..

It is not a general non-immigration, free-for-all area.

Documents while Travelling to UK

Post by smshoaib » Mon Feb 07, 2011 8:33 am

I have got my Tier 1 General Immigration Visa in August 2010 and I am planning to come UK in March 2011.

I want to know what documents I should carry with me?

Is bank statement required? or I can also show some cash (2000 pounds)

regards,

Please search forum to find answers.

My take:

Chest X-ray to show you do not have TB etc.

I would suggest you to carry Travel Cheques in pounds (sterling) over cash - they are very safe.

Answers to some common questions:
1. Where will you live? Address and contact number (if friend)
2. Your plan on seraching job
3. Are you confident finding employment etc.
