PSW work visa application after Student visa expires

Hello,

My student visa expired the 30th of January and I'm not going to be able to make my application for a PSW work visa until mid February.

I'm going to be applying for it from overseas.

Will this be a problem? Will my application be rejected because my student visa expired? I'm very concerned... any advice would be appreciated!

I recieved my grades, diploma and MA award in October

On the UKBA website it says that you can apply up to 12 months after that
But can I still do it from overseas if my original student visa expires?

I left the UK in late September

Its irrelevant If your student visa has now expired because you left the UK before it did. As long as you apply within a year of the date if the award - assuming that psw is still in place - it's ok.

I will advise to apply before April to be on the safe side.

DEFINITELY apply before April 2011... they might not entertain ANY applications from overseas for psw after 1st april... who knows... apply a s soon as you can...
