Maintainence Funds for dependents

Hi Guys

I'm applying for a dependent visa for my wife . For this I will be showing the maintainence funds as required by the embassy .

But can anybody please tell me : how old the bank statement can be ?

Is it ok if I provide the Bank statement which is 2 or 3 weeks old from the date of the Visa application .

Please guide me..

I think it should be fine as long as the statement is not older than 30 days.

The first thing you was not specify it. which visa you are holding a currently?
if you are on Tier 1 you need to show last 3 month bank balance. and in student 1 month bank statement.
