Electronic Bank Statements with encrypted account number

Hi ,

I'm applying for a Dependent Visa for my wife . For this I'm producing the Electronic bank statements as a proof of my maintainence . This statement has got the Official Stamp of the bank . But since the statement being an electronic statement, the first four characters of the Account number comes encrypted as '*' . My name is appearing correct .

Is it Ok to produce this statement for Visa Application .Will it create any problem ?

To be safe you should order statement from Bank. It might take few £ but you would be certain. Also for verification (if at all they contact ur bank) they would need your account number clearly mentioned on the form.
