Dumb Q: Does calling frequently for progress check hurt?

Post by madmax » Tue Jun 06, 2006 11:48 am

This may sound really silly. As decisions take between 1 day and several weeks once it is assigned to a case worker, does it help or hurt in anyway to call 'em frequently ? (Other than the feel-good effect that it has on the caller !!!) i.e. Does anyone know if they log progress check calls in the system which the case worker will be able to see while scoring ?

It shouldnt hurt the assessment on your application but they say patience is a virtue. Also the more calls the case workers take, the slower their progress will be in handling the cases.
