Tier-1 visa: Previous earnings proof

Hi,
I came from India to UK in the month of August-2010 on tier-2 visa. Now I am applying for T-1.
I worked in company ABC till July-2010 in India and then joined company XYZ back here in UK in August-2010.

My question is: Is full and final settlement(duly signed and stamped by company ABC) from my earlier company ABC can be shown as part of my previous earning? The thing is I didnt recv my July salary in the usual way being the last working month and they paid it with full and final settlement in August.

Any comments are most welcome.
