Is there no more visa stamping after the biometric ?

Post by kirmenon » Fri Feb 18, 2011 5:10 pm

Most of my friends who got the visa say that the biometric card is the visa , and they dont stamp it anymore in the passport ? is that true ?

Does that mean that with the biometirc card i can travel out of uk even though my passport is not stamped ?

Sorry if i asked a stupid question :(

the Biometric Residence Card replaces the stamp or sticker (vingette) in the passport. However you will need both the BRP and your passport to travel in and out of the UK.
