where can I find the visa reference number?

where can I find the visa reference number?

I have a tourist visa, student visa and student visa extension. I was able to locate the vaf number on my student visa but i cant find the reference number on my student visa extension and tourist visa


Please as I am applying on monday next week

You just need to use the one that you lastly entered the UK with if you are applying inside the UK (I am not sure how it works if you apply outside of the UK). I guess they are not all valid, so use the one which is currently valid. So try to find the one on your extension visa, if there is not any, I would suggest you to write the one on your initial student visa.

have you ever applied for a UK visa? if yes, give details i.e. duration of stay, purpose and visa reference number

The reference number on an entry clearance issued from outside the UK is the red number on the top right hand corner of the visa.

The number for your student extension from within the UK should also be on top right hand corner of the vingette and start with UK followed by some numbers.

If you had a biometric residence permit then put the permit number on through card.

thanks a lot..

I have another question. My current passport was renewed in 2007 and i had the extension in 2007 too. I do not look like the person in the pictures anymore as I have put on weight and have changed my hairstyle. Do you think I should include an affidavit with it to prove that it is my or countersigned?

no I HAVE NEVER GIVEN IT BEFORE AS THE BIOMETRIC THINGY WAS STARTED AFTER I HAD MY EXTENSION...THE ONLY FINGERPRINTS I CAN REMEMBER IS THE ONE TAKEN AT THE BORDER WHEN U ENTER AND LEAVE uk
