Can I switch My Student visa as dependent visa in london

Dear All,

My wife is a full time student doing masters under tire 4 PBS. and havind visa till 2012.. Iam also a student and my visa expires in march 5 2011..

we both got married in london and got cerficate from registrar...

now Can I apply a student dependent visa on my wife as my visa expires in 20 days with out going back to india... every one is giving their own views and not clear... some got dependent visa from london itself..

I trust the info given from this site will be 100% correct and I approached..

Please guide me... Can I switch my student visa to student dependent visa and IF yes how huch funds should I show in her account and in my account...

No, as 319C(h) is not satisfied.

You'll need to apply for entry clearance as dependant of Tier 4 (student) migrant from outside the UK (e.g. - home country).
