You are not covered by HSMP JR.ashishashah wrote:Hello,
I was on HSMP scheme in Nov 2006.I got extension in Nov 2009 for 2 years.
I am covered by HSMP High court JR judegement. However,my current visa is Tier1 (and NOT HSMP).
My question is :
When i apply for another extension in Nov 11, will i be covered under HSMP Jr( and treated under same rules)?
OR
will i be treated as Tier1 holder and Tier1 extension rules would apply to me?
Thank you,
Ashish Shah
Just to be clear, under HSMP JR, if you applied for HSMP before the 3rd of April 2006, you will be eligible for settlement after 4 yrs. If you applied btw 3rd of April and 7th pf Nov 2006, you will be eligible for settlement after 5 yrs and you don't need to pass life in UK test. You will need to show that you have been economically active..ashishashah wrote:Hi,
Thanks for your reply...But when i had called up the contact centre of home office, i was trold that since i am originally from HSMP scheme, i will be covered. However,i wanted to double check..
Do you have any links for my situation?
