URGENT - Tier1 Extn in process - need advise

Post by punjabimunda80 » Tue Feb 22, 2011 4:47 pm

All,

Need urgent Advise.

I applied for Tier1 extension and attended my Biometrics (BRP) appointment yesterday at Croydon.

Now the background - My wife entered into the country on work permit dependent with her first name only(on passport and WP) and then later I added my surname to her passport and we switched to Tier1 General with First+Surname on visa/passport.

When I applied for Tier1 extension, I left the column "if known by any other nameâ€

HI manojk005

So you are suggesting to write ? -

Will the case worker be considering this ?
or
May I will just brought it in notice which can go against me ?

Has anyone did this before (supplied info later) and they considered that ?

I will suggest to mention that. When you added your surname then passport was replaced, which means something has changed. So better to mention it if there is option to do so. I am certain that this will not go against you. You are only mentioning correct information and caseworker/UKBA must have come across situation like this.
