is Tenancy agreement mandatory for Dependant visa

Post by rajakm » Mon Feb 21, 2011 1:59 pm

Hi,

I am in UK for the last 6 months. My kid is in India. Planning to apply dependent visa for my daughter on Match 10th. but my current house tenancy agreement is getting over by March 25th. Do I need to renew my current agreement and send that for Visa application? or utility bills and a letter from letting agency is enough?

Hi, I believe a tenancy agreement is not mandatory, as long as you ful fill the maintenance criteria. I think it helps you (I think, I'm not sure) but its defenitely not mandatory...

Tenancy agreement is not mandatory at all. It just helps to make your file look more professional I guess.
