Late Salary

Dear members
My employer issued me a cheque for my Jan salary which I deposited about three weeks later in Feb. Would it be a problem in claiming previous earnings? I have a copy of the cheque for record and I can arrange a letter from my employer. Please guide, thanks

Right..letter from employer about the cheque issue date and amount and payslip(it should show the cheque number)
against the bank statement also
