Tier 1 Dependants

Post by mark7 » Thu Feb 10, 2011 4:34 pm

Hi,
I have a query....
I am on Tier 1 PSW at the moment in the UK.... My wife was my dependent before but now she is on Tier 1 G.... My kids are still my dependants on my visa.
Now If they want to be dependent on my wife's visa can they switch in country or they have to go out and reapply? What about the maintenance funds criteria if its in country?

Thanks as always in advance....

From outside the UK, since the change in status involves change of sponsor (main migrant).

Post by mark7 » Mon Feb 21, 2011 7:11 pm

Hi
My wife was my dependent in the UK since last three years, She switched to tier 1 from Feb 2011. Shes back in the UK now and me and my kids are planning to be her Dependants. Now my question is:-

How much maintenance funds will me and my kids have to show each. Will it be 1600 or 533 each?

Thanks in advance

Hi thanks... but I am still not clear.I phoned the Croydon office and they said to contact the home country high commission when I called them they asked me to contact HO in UK.

My wife was my dependent from 2007 till Dec 2010. She went back and switched from dependent to tier 1 migrant.

My kids are still my dependent. Now we are planning to switch to her dependants.
So will it be

1600 X 3 + 2800

or

533 X 3 + 800

Can some senior members advise please

Thanks
