Tier 2 (ICT) to Tier 1 (genreal)

Hi -
Pls help me if you have been into such scenario or you are aware of law & policy.

My Current company sponsored COS is till 30 March 2011 & i have applied for tier 1 Visa on 21 Feb 2011.

Incase my tier 1 visa is not arrived before 30 march 2011 , will i be able to continue my work with my current employer. if yes, do i need to provide any document (confirmation letter from UKBA)

According to my knowledge, unless you get a decision on your Tier 1 application, your immigration status will remain Tier 2 (ICT)

Hi Sushdmehta-
Thx for your help & really appreciate your initiative.

My HR is saying they can hold till 1oth march for tier 1 to arrive otherwise they will initiate the process of issuing new COS. I am really worried as i am sure i will not get tier 1 by then considering current waiting time.

What if they go ahead for new COS issuance letter, will my tier 1 application gets rejected.

pls help me
